DESCRIPTION:Hello all…. well the weather does not look promising for our mini tour tomorrow. The intended route includes several low water crossings and with the flash flood warnings I have been getting the decision is to postpone this mini tour for another hopefully still cooler and dryer day.  \nIn the meantime\, stay safe and dry. \nRich \nJoin us for a fall drive in cooler weather. \nWe will meet up in the River City Grill parking lot (1st street in Marble Falls) at 10:30 \nWe will depart there around 11:00 and make our way to Kingsland taking some back roads.  Our next stop is planned to be Alfredo’s Mexican Restaurant where we can have lunch. The drive is about 20 miles. \nAfter lunch we will head north and east using Park Road which goes by the Longhorn Canyon Park.  We could stop there for a break if needed otherwise we will continue on to the Highland Lakes Squadron Museum. \n  \n \nIt is about 20 miles from Alfredo’s.  The museum is open until 4 pm.  \nKeep your eyes open during the tour. There will be a short quiz to see how observant you are during the drive.  Prizes are a possibility. Fun is a necessity. \n  \n  \nFrom the museum you can either head home or possibly stop at Dairy Queen in Burnet\, or a Dairy Queen in Marble Falls for those returning south.   \n  \n
