DESCRIPTION:This Saturday we are having a mini tour to Lampasas\, Texas. Rich in history\, old cars\, hotels and museums. Plus great places to eat.  \nInformation and Schedule of Events\nGENERAL INFORMATION: \n\n    ☆ The two groups will arrive in Lampasas at approximately 10:00 a.m.\n    ☆ We will park in reserved spaces on the North side of the courthouse square.\n    ☆ We will have chilled bottled water available for everyone (Leif will have a gas can and other fluids)\n    ☆ The farmer’s market will be taking place on the South side of the courthouse. \n    ☆ Restrooms will be open on the East side across the street from the courthouse.  \n\nSCHEDULE OF EVENTS:  \n\n    10:00  Arrive at courthouse \n    10:30  Private tour of courthouse by Randy McGuire (South door) – approximate time one hour\n    11:30 – 1:15  Lunch and free time to shop at antique and gift shops or see the old train station and historic buildings off the square\n    1:30  Private car collection of Andy Fish one block off the square on Western and 3rd Street\n    2:30  Lampasas County Museum on Western Street directly across from the car collection\n    3:30  Drive to Storm’s Drive-in for ice cream or sodas on their pavilion – restrooms available

SUMMARY:Wimberly Parade
DESCRIPTION:We’re registered to participate in the Wimberley Independence Day Parade.  Here is some information to note: \n1)  Our group is meeting at the Wimberley High School at 100 Carney Ln\, Wimberley\, TX 78676.  Line up begins at 7am and strictly closes at 9am. \nYour ‘minor’ participants have been registered.  You must pick up a wristband for them no later than 8am at a table at the parking lot. \n2)  There is room for trailer parking at the high school.  If you intend to continue on with the mini-tour after the parade\, it will be easy to get back to the high school parking lot.  If you only wish to drive the parade\, it may be prudent to move the trailer to the parking area near the Hays County Constable at 200 Stillwater Rd Suite 106\, Wimberley\, TX 78676 \n3)  The parade starts at 10am and we do not know where we’ll be lined up.  It is expected to be a two-hour parade. \n4)  There will be NO THROWING of candy or other items from anyone entered in the Parade. However\, you may have walkers alongside your float or vehicle hand out sealed candy\, and mini water bottles ONLY! \nThere will be a small contingency participating in the Wimberley Independence Day Parade.  The parade starts at 10am and may last two hours making us hungry for Mexican Food!  After puttering through Wimberley\, we’ll head straight to Milagro’s Hill Country Tex Mex at 9595 Ranch Rd 12 #12\, Wimberley\, TX 78676.  Our arrival time is not set but we will have an area dedicated for our group at 12pm.  There is also a wonderful deck to hang out on while waiting for us to show up. \nFollowing our group lunch\, we’ll embark on a short jaunt around the Wimberley Area:  down the Backbone and look-out\, across Slime Bridge\, along the Blanco River\, and then stop at Jean’s Antiques for some shopping.  The Kirkham family has graciously opened their home to the club for our final stop for refreshments and mingling. \nPlease RSVP (by July 2) for lunch reservations:  Accepting this Invitation\, Leif_Allred@amat.com
