Come join us for a mini tour in the Marble Falls and Burnet back roads. The tour includes a stop for lunch at Alfredo’s, a visit to the Highland Lakes Squadron CAF and an optional second stop at the Vintage Motorcycle Museum in Burnet. 

The plan is to gather at the River City Grill in Marble Falls at 10:00 am (700 1st Street, Marble Falls). Depart that parking lot around 10:30 and take back roads to Kingsland and have lunch at the Mexican Restaurant called Alfredo’s. It is about a 20 mile drive. (Note: Alfredo’s only takes cash for lunch)

From Alfredo’s we backtrack slightly and head north (about another 20 miles) and visit the Highland Lake Squadron  WWII Aviation Museum (donations are appreciated).

If time allows and there is enough interest, we can head up north another 3 miles to the  Vintage Motorcycle Museum on RT 29. ($6 admission for seniors)

For those not in a hurry to go home, we can stop at a nearby Dairy Queen for some cool refreshments. 

Detailed driving  instructions will be provided when we gather at the River City Grill parking lot. 

There will be a fun quiz with your driving instructions to test your powers of observation. Prizes will be awarded.
