In preparation for the 2026 Texas Tour in May we will need 40 trophies for the car awards. Rather then buy trophies, the club is creating unique, one of a kind, trophies from old car parts. 

We will make the bases and paint them. Then we will place on each base the “trophies”. We need folks to assemble the bases, paint them, clean and polish a trophy and mount the trophy. The shop has all the tools we will need (welder, grinders, sanders, nail gun, paint, compressor, etc.). 

We will meet at Daylight Donuts in Jarrell at 9 am. From there, drive to the shop to make trophies. Break for lunch around noon (at Buddies in Florence). It is about a 15 minute drive. Return to the shop to make more trophies. Come for just the morning, or just the afternoon session but you are welcome to come for the day. 

Bring any old car parts you want to donate to the effort. We only have about 20 trophies so we need to create another 20 out of car parts.
